Περίληψη. DAIAD is an FP7 research project addressing the challenge of improving the management of water resources through real-time knowledge of water consumption in order to improve societal awareness, induce sustainable changes in consumer behavior, and explore new water demand management strategies. In this paper we present the motivation of our work, our vision and objectives, along with an early architectural overview of the planned DAIAD system.
