Eliza Papaki
Eliza Papaki has joined the team of the Digital Curation Unit of the Research Center “Athena” since January 2013 through the European Mobility Program Leonardo da Vinci and following that as a scholar of the Unit. Her educational background includes undergraduate studies in the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Cyprus, where she comes from, with a specialization in History during the years 2007 to 2011 and postgraduate studies in Trinity College Dublin in the program “Public History and Cultural Heritage” in 2011-2012.
Her current research interests in the Digital Curation Unit deal with finding, collecting and understanding digital research practices of Humanities as part of the Program Europeana Cloud. From January to May 2012 she completed an internship in the Dublin City Library and Archive aiming to collect archival material and present it in a database in order to improve the research conditions of the users of the Archive, a fact that initiated me to the world of Digital Humanities.
