Mary Melekopoglou received her Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens in 1988 (Electrical Engineering department) and continued her studies in Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in USA (Master’s Degree in 1990).

In the period 1990 – 1996 she worked in the software development and integration teams of PanDrive where a prototype Vehicle Navigation system was designed and developed, based on a protype digital map representing the city.

In the Telecommunications business, in Ericsson Greece, she first worked in the local integration and support teams for software and hardware updates and upgrades (1996-2007). Next (in period 2007-2021), she worked in Hardware Services / Spare Parts management as Service Delivery Manager, responsible for services for various Telecom Operators in Greece and abroad.

After that, in 2022, she joined IMSI Institute in Athena Research Center as project manager for Horizon 2020 programs.
