Eleni S. Adamidi is a Scientific Associate at IMSI - "Athena" RC. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a MSc degree in Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences from NTUA. She has been involved in several EU and national R&D projects, in some as Principal Investigator and her research interests consist of data management, bioinformatics, AI/ML in Healthcare and Clinical Decision Support Systems. She is a member of the ATLAS Experimental Physics Department (EP-UAT) of CERN under the supervision of Prof. Evangelos Gazis, IASA, for over 10 years. She has served as a mentor in “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare”, ScicommHack, CERN and as a lecturer in several CERN Summer Schools. She is a recipient of several awards for her research in the biomedical field including a 3-year Marie Curie Fellowship, as an Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) at CERN in the project EDUSAFE – Research in the use of Augmented Reality (AR). Since 2023 she is CAIO (Chief AI Officer) in a US mental healthcare company.
