SECOVIA SEE Project: Public Administrations moving together on the Cloud

26-03-2013

SECOVIA is a two-year, South East Europe (SEE) Transnational Cooperation Programme project, and it is co-funded by EU and by the states of the participating partners. It promotes jointly developed, advanced IT solutions that harvest the benefits of cloud computing to support access to shared public IT services, resources & infrastructures, tackling the digital divide among SEE territories.

IMIS/Athena RIC (imis.athena-innovation.gr) participates in the project as a knowledge partner focusing on the assessment of virtual accessibility services and infrastructures. IMIS works on exploring and outlining the organizational, technical and financial feasibility requirements of a joint provider for shared internet based platforms and applications for digital public services (PaaS, SaaS).

You can find more details about the project on its website: http://secovia.eu, on this press release in greek and english and on its presentation.
